Chong hits it on the mark with this first installment of The Company of Angels series. Her supporting characters were just as intriguing as the main characters and it’s my hope we’ll be seeing demoons of them in forthcoming sequels.

We’re told that Julian is the baddest of the bad demons; he enjoys corrupting human souls and has no remorse for any of his actions. In addition, the first quarter of the book is incredibly rough. It all seemed very promising! He wants nothing more than to lure her into giving herself fully to his whims and desires and then watching her fall out of chonh.
Julian materialises in Serena’s house while she is sleeping. She works for Arielle and The Company where they lead misguided humans into a more suitable path. On the other hand, Serena has a bit of a martyr complex. But soon, Julian will perceive that Serena is more than just an angel who’s beginning her career and will do everything to make her fall into his arms and by in the same way make her a Fallen Angel.

Again, a little hard to swallow, but his character is written in a way that pulled me to his side, hoping he was able to have what he wanted.
After a mere years, he became one of the youngest arch-demons ever and ever since then he has soiled and tear the souls of many innocent women. For two centuries he have done a lot of bad things without second thought until he starts to fall in love with Serena.

This book is filled with a battle of wills between a worldly demon and an innocent angel. I demoons her appeal, but she was too angelictoo good, too inexperienced. With this thought also comes unexpected terror.
